Welcome to Gemini Season ♊
As the third sign of the Zodiac, Gemini comes in with genuine curiosity. The energy moves out from the body’s stillness & into the quickness of the mind. Gemini gives rise to our intellect & communication. It’s how we put words to what we feel inside our heart. A season dedicated to understanding reality thru our individual perception.
When the Sun enters the sign of Gemini, it’s time to pay attention to the information we are receiving from life. We are learning how to trust our senses by asking the right questions & keeping an open mind. During Taurus season, things started to get real. Now in Gemini season, we observe that reality with absolute clarity. The Sun gives us a fresh look at everything that arises on our path.
This past month was challenging. I hope you were able to stay grounded & learned how to slow down when things got chaotic. The beautiful part is that we carry the energies of each sign as we continue on the Sun’s path. We can continue to build courage & stay grounded as we learn how to pay attention to what’s important.
We made it to Gemini season. Spring is ending & it’s time to gather data.
When the Sun is in Gemini, you can get curious, ask questions, & learn from your everyday experiences.
I love Gemini because it gives us a chance to cultivate a beginner’s mind. When making changes & starting something new, it’s okay to not have all the answers. That’s the whole point. Gemini teaches us that there is no failure, we simply learn from our mistakes. What matters most during this season is taking in every experience as if it were the first time. We do that by keeping a sense of wonder & letting life surprise us.
During Aries season, we cultivated the courage to birth something new.
During Taurus season, we cultivated the perseverance to sustain it.
Now during Gemini season, we cultivate the desire to endlessly learn from our experiences.
It’s very easy to fall into the “why is this happening to me?” trap. The mind moves very fast. I’m sure we all know how quickly we can spiral into self-doubt & think “I must not be good enough.” The Sun shines a light on our thoughts as we move from rigid doubts, opinions, & judgements into perpetual wonder & amazement.
Can you sit with your doubts long enough to wonder where they came from?
You have the life force of the Sun on your side, giving you the opportunity to say I THINK I understand.
Take this energy & direct it towards understanding the life around you. We all live in our own world separate from objective reality. There is a duality here. The secret is to align our beliefs with what is actually happening in our external world. We pay attention to what is happening outside of us so we can make the internal shifts necessary to align with what matters most.
What is actually happening here? How can I learn from this?
These are the kinds of questions that give you the clarity to move forward instead of staying stuck & repeating old patterns.
Gemini represents our ability to adapt to an ever changing reality. With that comes our right to question the beliefs we were taught. It’s okay to be doubtful, as long as we communicate our ideas & continue to learn who we are as individuals.
Gemini gives us the gift of observation. Question yourself & question the world around you. Pretend that you don’t know everything & give yourself a chance to experience life for the first time, everyday.
Change the way you look at things & the things you look at change.
There is a low threshold for monotony during this time, aka doing the same old boring routine. The best course of action is to stay flexible & follow your curiosities. You never know where they may lead you, how exciting is that!?
This is how the Sun’s energy expresses itself during this season & we all feel it. It’s curious, it’s intellectual, & forms our perception of reality.
We might notice people are a little more talkative, scattered, or restless. That’s the whole point. We all want to experience the fullness of life & share those experiences.
We overthink because something doesn’t seem right. I challenge you to ask a question first before forming an opinion on any matter. Use these questions as a foundation for growth rather than stagnation. Do things that widen your perspective. Learn something new. Read, write, & talk to people. Allow yourself to be surprised & delighted from everything you encounter.
Shit happens, but the magic is in your response.
